This morning, I went to "Rendezvous Coffee House", which a hostel staff recommended me in Flagstaff downtown.
They use wood for the counter and it makes me warm.
I ordered latte as usual.
Outside of the cafe, I found a public clock, but it stopped...
A little bad
Flagstaff is pretty old town (at most 200 years).
Buildings are made of bricks. Historical route 66 is also located next to downtown.
After wondering Flagstaff, I said good-bye and headed for Sedona.
On the way, AZ-89 highway is along rock and winding.
I noticed that Flagstaff is in much higher place (7000 ft) than Sedona (4000 ft).
There is almost 3000 ft (1km) difference of altitude between 2 places.
I am great(!?) driver, so I didn't have any accidents.
When I thought the road becomes open, I saw ROCKs in front of me.
The car you can see in this picture isn't my car, but similar one.
I stopped by visitor information center.
I heard Chapel of the Holy Cross Point is nice view to see Sedona.
As soon as I got that info, I went to that point.
This seems Snoopy Rock.
Because I look this rock just in front, I can't tell this is Snoopy shape.
As I take a scrutiny, there are a lot of face-similar shape.
Don't you know with this picture??
In the right side, there are upright rocks.
I was surprised when I thought these rock were made by nature.
How come were they made??
In the other side , I could see Bell Rock, which has special spiritual power, vortex, I heard.
Today I would hike this rock!!
Before hiking, I had to put something in my stomach.
I saw unusual colored McDonald's in this city.
It's not yellow but blue.
The food doesn't seem delicious by watching this logo.
Well, let's go hiking!
Not only I but also many people go hiking or bicycling.
In the half of Bell Rock, I gave up even several people were in the top.
Actually I slipped in the rock, and I thought if I continue, I might be in dangerous situation.
In the middle of Bell Rock, I meditated...
Did I feel something special power??
Umm, no, I didn't.
I may have needed more meditation...
At last I also said good-bye to Sedona after seeing big rock during sunset time.
I drove for 2 hours from Sedona to Phoenix.
In Phoenix, I ate Vietnamese food which made me curious.
I always eat Thai food (and like Thai food), but I've never tried other Southeastern country's food.
I'm sorry, I forgot to take a picture of this soup.
I liked this one, except for green vegetable...
It is JALAPENO!!
I cried and was sweated and sweated.
All things were eaten by me!
I don't wanna be folded by such a green thing!!
