Land on Texas

I came to Texas, the middle of the US.

My trip is also middle.

There are less than 30 days left.

   

 

Yesterday on the way to come to the hostel, I also used this train.

This is nice train because this is calm and speedy.
   
 

I stayed in Museum District, so I used this to come to Houston Downtown.  



Actually, here is a little disappointing.

There is no sightseeing place in downtown!!

At the top of that, there are only few people walking on the street even in weekday.

Is this really 5th biggest city in the US??

I'm gonna stay in Houston for 3 days, but 2 days stay seems enough.



I don't have nothing but going sightseeing, so I came small historical place.


Houston was named after Sam Houston, who was a President of Texas in the Independence War from Mexico.
  

I finished walking & seeing in downtown 1.5 hours...

So I decided to go art museum.

I haven't seen such a cool statue~~

There are not only Western arts but also Asian, Islamic, Latin, Ancient arts here.

I was satisfied with this museum, not city of Houston today.
