Current Wild West in Phoenix @ 45th Day

Today I wandered around downtown Phoenix.

This bear is cute, isn't it?

I woke up later than usual. Before 10:00

Breakfast is until 10, so I hurried up, washing my face, brushing teeth, and wearing clothes.

I also had to check out today.

While preparing and cleaning, it was almost 11:00.

When I came to Arizona Capitol, it was almost 12:00.

Arizona Capitol is used as a museum.

I didn't know Arizona joined to the US in 1912.

To be surprised, they experienced only 100 years as the part of the US.

 

Here, they chose to be a state of the US. 

I also went to Wells Fargo History Museum.

This museum is about Wild West.

Many people advanced to West to seek gold and their good life.

From St. Louis to San Francisco, it took 24 days at that time by passing the Butterfield Road.

And Wells Fargo is concerned about this!

This is the real carriage~~

My travel is also contemporary Wild West.

I started from Washington DC to San Francisco stopping by New York and St. Louis.

Different form my expectation, Phoenix is only few places to see.

This is like Atlanta...

I got free time to go something else.

Tentatively, I went to cafe named One Coffee Co.

Atmosphere is nice.

I ordered small latte, but size went up to medium because they ran out of small cup.

I searched in guidebook and decided to go to Scottsdale, which is 40 min far away from Phoenix by bus.

Scottsdale is a pretty nice place.

It is now tourist city mixing old town, art area, fancy area, and golf place.

This is art district, where there are about 30 galleries.

Unfortunately I came late and I don't enough time to enter some interesting galleries.

This 5th Ave is bland shop street.

This place is more fun than downtown Phoenix!! Absolutely!!

In this street, I found football shop.

They sell all team goods, including SF 49ers and Baltimore Ravens.

On Feb 3rd, Super Ball is held.

Go 49ers!! I wanna cry because I'm leaving SF on 1st...



In Scottsdale, there is a Chinese fast food restaurant, Panda express.

I sometimes use this restaurant, because it is cheap and somehow delicioius.

"Welcome to Panda~~" ←← This is what they say to customer.

Although this is Chinese food, all staff and cook are not Chinese, they seem Mexican...

 

They have a lot of meat dishes and less vegetable dishes...

I ordered fried rice, spicy beef, and long bean-chicken.

These Chinese food is fake Chinese food, but it is much better than burger or French fries.

Instead of dessert, they always serve fortune cookie.

"TAKE A TRIP WITH A FRIEND"

A god doesn't think traveling alone is good thing for me...

Well,  his suggested traveling with "a friend," not "friends."

Now I am looking for someone who can travel with me.

I'm thinking about asking roommates in LA hostel weather they will go to San Diego / San Francisco with me by car.
