5 hours in Charlotte

Yesterday, I departed at New York.

I had to transfer to another bus at Richmond.

When I arrived there, it was crazier than New York.

Even it was 2:00am, the bus center was packed...

I was supposed to leave at 3:15, but when I sat down on the bus seat, it was 4:30...

So I had waited for 2.5 hours for next bus in the early morning.

We can say this situation crazy.

The time I arrived at Charlotte, NC was 11:00.

I had 5 hours for next bus bound for Atlanta, GA.

Although I was sleepy, I decided to go sightseeing because I know I couldn't come here any more.

Before that I have to eat breakfast (lunch?) and keep my luggage!

I ate Chinese fast food and let's go~~

This is downtown of Charlotte.

I knew that Charlotte is the headquarter of Bank of America (3 of big buildings of this picture), and became second financial city in the US.

That's surprising for me.

I went this museum.

"Lavine Museum of the New South"

This museum is about Southern states after Civil War.

Umm,  this was a place where cotton is made.

Oh, segregation...

??

In the US, there are 4743 black people who lynched by white people!?!?!?

There are real pictures in this museum and I couldn't say anything because it was too horrible.

I didn't know that black people had had serious abuse in the late 19th century to the beginning of 20th century.

5 hours is short period of time, but Charlotte is quite small city, so I could see almost everything.

When I arrived at Atlanta, it was almost 11:00.

I was so hungry because I haven't eaten food for 12 hours.

And top of that I was too tired....

Anyway I will enjoy Atlanta from tomorrow!
